SECOND FIVE

here are my second group of 5 los.

they are scrapped in the smaller 8.5 x 11 inch size that i absolutely love scrapping in.

one of my all time favourite los. it is bright and happy and cheerful which sums up my baby girl perfectly. it is the first lo i did after deciding that i was too uptight about the way i scrapped and the way i used my stash. i just let my imagination and creativity run wild and this was the end result

another lo of kait - this pic was taken in 1991 when she was the angel in her preschool concert. it is the first time i ever used my heidi swap mask - love them so much. i just love this lo and for once the picture in my head materialised onto the paper...lol

this lo was created from a sketch that was part of the weekly challenge on tca.
the pic is of mark when he was a youngster on his beloved dragster bike.
i kept the pic b&w to fit into the era (early 70's).
it was fun to sit with mark and listen to him talk about all the antics that him and his brother got up to on their bikes.
i am lucky to have a lot of mark's childhood pics and have started an album for him.



this lo is another one created as part of the tca weekly inspiration which i post along with my friend maursie who does the sketches.
the inspiration was to use mongrams on a lo.
again i had had a revelation when i scrapped this and tried to be a little adventurous with it.
i just love this pic of jake when he was a preschool and the journalling tells the story of just how big jakey thought this bunny was.
love this pic of matt. he had just got out of the pool and was dripping wet, with his hair all wet.
chose the colour scheme to match the coaster that was a freebee on a mag (FK i think) but it all worked so well with the pic.

(doesn't the old codger say that on that "gardening australia" show on the abc...???)

it has been great to see everyone else's los from the past and to share mine.
