......to one and all.
i hope you celebrated being a citizen of this wonderful land of ours with loved ones and friends.
in the pratten household we had bacon and eggs for breakky.
mark took the kids and alex, our adopted son - well he's really our next-door neighbour but we treat him like on of our own - to play tennis and i stayed at home reading a book i just can't put down at the moment "memoirs of a geisha"
what a great read.
we had a yummy lunch of vegemite sandies - can't get much more aussie than that.
tonite we are having lamb for dinner - not on the bbq but it's still lamb with lots of veges.
however you celebrated i hope you embraced what it means to be an australian.
we have peace in our homeland
we have the right to voice an opinion
most of us feel safe in our own homes
we are free from political, religious or social persecution.
yup....it's great to be an australian
until tomorrow
